Please do not include sensitive personal information in delivery notes or other free-text fields unless it is genuinely necessary.

If required information is not provided, we may be unable to process or deliver an order.

4. Payments

Card payments are processed through the payment service made available at checkout, currently Stripe, and PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. Those providers receive the information needed to process the payment, prevent fraud and meet their own legal obligations. Their handling of personal information is also governed by their own privacy notices.

5. Cookies, analytics and third-party content

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the basket, checkout, security features and consent controls. With your permission, we may also use optional statistics or marketing technologies to understand how the site is used and to display third-party content.

The site is configured with services including WooCommerce, Jetpack/Automattic, Complianz, website statistics tools and Facebook content. Some third-party content may set cookies or collect technical information only after the relevant consent has been given.

These organisations may act as our processors or as separate data controllers, depending on the service they provide. We do not sell personal information.

Some technology or payment providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we require an appropriate legal safeguard, such as a UK adequacy regulation or approved contractual protections, unless another lawful exception applies.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute-handling requirements.

  • Order, invoice, payment and accounting records are normally kept for six years from the end of the relevant accounting period.
  • Account information is kept while the account remains active and is then reviewed for deletion or anonymisation, subject to records we must retain.
  • Enquiries, delivery notes, security records and consent records are kept for only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose and are periodically reviewed.

We may keep information for longer where a complaint, dispute, legal claim or regulatory requirement makes this necessary.

We use appropriate organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No online service is completely secure, so please contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
